We hold TWO monthly hands-on educational workshops for kids of all ages! Each STEAM discipline is explored in a way that relates to space exploration. These Saturday programs are designed to be FUN as well as educational!

1) STEAM Saturdays (Every 2nd Saturday)

These are formal classes with activities linked to the Florida Standards for fifth grade science. During a series of 5 classes, students will learn about the influence of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math on space exploration. Classes last approximately 3 hours each and are geared toward students grades 3-5. Again, they are hands-on and designed to be FUN and educational!

Students are welcome to take any or all of the 5 classes in the series and may start anywhere in the series. Each class session costs $25 but need-based scholarships are available. Each session is limited to 16 students. To reserve a spot, call us at 321-264-0434 or email us at info@americanspacemuseum.org.

Location: American Space Museum
Class Times: Normally 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. For a current list of class topics and times, please visit our STEAM Saturday Event page.

2) Free STEAM Station Saturdays (Every 4th Saturday)

This is a FREE informal exploration opportunity with no reservation required. Bring your children (of all ages) to visit the various STEAM stations in the museum. There, they will perform experiments, build things and discover that science and technology are fun!

Admission to the museum is FREE for everyone on STEAM Station Saturdays so bring the whole family and explore the museum.
