Monthly “Starry Starry Astronomy Night” August 2018

August 21, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

August 2018 Program: See polar caps of Mars, moons of Jupiter, rings of Saturn and lunar craters in a telescope from our parking lot

Have fun learning about the stars and planets during our FREE monthly “Starry Starry Astronomy Night!” at the American Space Museum. We usually meet in the museum classroom for a short program on current events in astronomy, followed by some urban stargazing from our front parking lot if weather cooperates. (This month we just meet in the front parking lot.)

We provide a large telescope. Guests are also welcome to bring their own telescope for some hands-on training and tips.
