DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: Forum videos now on YouTube: Video 1 Video 2 \nTo celebrate 50 years of “Peace in Orbit” the American Space Museum will host a “mini-forum” of NASA legends who were involved in the historic\, cooperative mission of the Apollo Soyuz Test Project of July 1975 when three American astronauts docked their Apollo Command Module with two Russians in the Soyuz spacecraft. The ensuing handshakes have endured through the construction and operation of the International Space Station 50 years later. (Originally broadcast live.) \nAgenda…\n\nVideo 1 1 pm: Apollo Soyuz Test Project Retrospective” – 50 years ago. The 1975 Apollo Soyuz Test Project marked the first time Americans and Russians cooperated in space. “ASTP Retrospective” is presented by space educator Steve Agid of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center who was formerly a space program worker.\n\nVideo 2 2 pm: NASA Legends Jay Honeycutt & John Tribe discuss 1975 American/Russian Apollo Soyuz Test Project. Former Kennedy Space Center Director Jay Honeycutt\, and John Tribe\, a British engineer and hypergolics expert for Rockwell\, builders of the Command Module.\n\nRegular $10 museum admission will be charged.
