SUMMARY:World Premiere: "The Base to Space" Mobile Launcher 2 Documentary Film
DESCRIPTION:American Space Museum and the film’s producers present the world premier of “The Base to Space\,” the incredible story of NASA’s Mobile Launch Platform 2 (MLP-2) for Apollo Saturn V and Space Shuttle. The EVENT includes a “Meet and Greet” with many film characters including astronaut Bruce Melnick\, a Q & A session\, and a post event party. Note that MLP-2 was the last place on Earth touched by Apollo 11 and Shuttle Challenger. \nThe 50-minute film features many of the MLP-2 team members from the past 50 years. Many of these principal film characters will be in attendance including astronaut Bruce Melnick. \nTime and Location: Sunday\, Sept. 25th from 2-5 pm at Hyatt Place Hotel\, Titusville.
