DESCRIPTION:CANCELED (COVID-19): “Shuttle Era Legacy” & “Yuri’s Night” are the subjects for the April 11\, 2020 presentation in the “American Space Museum Celebration Series 2020“.\n\n1) Celebrating the 30+ years of the Space Transportation System / Space Shuttle program\, featuring former workers in short talks and panel discussions. \n2) ASM will participate in International Yuri’s Night with an evening talk commemorating the first human spaceflight by Yuri Gagarin on April 12\, 1961. Shuttle orbiter Columbia’s first flight was exactly 20 years later on April 12\, 1981. \n– More Information SOON on the presentations and activities. \n– In addition to the Yuri’s Night program\, starting at twilight\, we will also have “Urban Stargazing” available from our parking lot with members of the Brevard Astronomical Society with their telescopes (and a wealth of knowledge!) to share. \nCost: Normal Admission.   (Evening Stargazing: Free)\n\nThe “American Space Museum Celebration Series 2020” will connect the public with space workers and authorities on monthly subjects.
