ADDRESS and Google MAP Link at page bottom under “VENUE” *

This year’s celebration is highlighted by a screening of the documentary “Base to Space: Mobile Launch Platform 2”. It will also feature panel discussions on “The Shuttle’s 30 Year Legacy” and “Space Art: The Past Reflects the Future,” as well as several presenters on the making of the documentary and construction of the Mobile Launch Platform 2 (MLB-2). The event includes short talks, panel discussions, and fellowship with key space workers. We are awaiting confirmation from several astronauts wishing to put ShuttleFest II in their schedules. The public is welcome to rub shoulders with these “national treasures” of America’s storied Space Shuttle program.

About a dozen vendors who support ASM have been invited to trade their wares. ASM will offer a commemorative “ShuttleFest” coin, partly designed by Tim Gagnon, as well as an event T-shirt.

A special sponsor of ShuttleFest II will be Ken Havekotte Space Memorabilia. The Hyatt Place Titusville is also a valued ASM partner. Set along US-1 and adjacent US-405, this relaxed hotel is 8 miles from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex.

Admission to ShuttleFest II will be $20 at the door or $15 via pre-registration, with an option for a sandwich or salad “box lunch” for $12. Pre-register here: https://american-space-museum-store.square.site/.

“The success of last year’s inaugural ShuttleFest was a wonderful celebration of spaceworkers,” said ASM Executive Director Karan Conklin. “We wish to keep alive the memories of this important chapter of American space history and its undeniable impact on our world today.”
