Forum Videos Available: 50 years “Peace in Orbit” since 1975 Apollo-Soyuz Test Project
To celebrate 50 years of “Peace in Orbit”, on July 19, 2025 the American Space Museum held a “mini-forum” of NASA legends who were involved in the historic, cooperative mission of the Apollo Soyuz Test Project of July 1975 when three American astronauts docked their Apollo Command Module with two Russians in the Soyuz spacecraft. The ensuing handshakes have endured through the construction and operation of the International Space Station 50 years later.
