The American Space Museum is trying to raise money for a new roof. We are hosting a “Moonlight Roof Fund Drive” with a spacey yard sale, virtual reality “rides”, and telescopes on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. with moon gazing ending around 9 p.m. It will be held in the museum parking lot in Downtown Titusville. (See below for address and map.)

Although we normally close at 5pm, on Nov 17 we will have special evening hours with activities outside and tours of the museum inside. If you have not been to the museum before it is a great time to view artifacts of the Space Age. Featured in the parking lot will be the Rilix Virtual Reality coaster and Mars experience, tables of affordable space memorabilia, and telescopes from the Brevard Astronomical Society. The space memorabilia for sale includes patches, books, posters, STS t-shirts and framed photos.
