ASM to Host ‘Meet Apollo 11 Workers’ Event
On July 20, 2019, come talk to space workers who played a part in Apollo 11.
We plan a special day of activities for the whole family to celebrate the workers who made Project Apollo possible, and the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
The featured event will be a panel discussion by three special NASA workers, including Ike Rigell, who will share memories from the Moon Race.
Ike, now age 96 is a NASA engineering legend and World War II Pacific Rim veteran. He will also be signing his book about his long life titled, “Ike,” with proceeds donated to the museum.
We will have many other activities at both the American Space Museum and Space View Park.
