Our ASM YouTube Channel Is Growing & Earning!

Our American Space Museum YouTube Channel is growing! Lots of new content. Also, you can now help us to raise funds by watching our videos.

Please watch and subscribe!

We hit a MAJOR MILESTONE in April 2022. Thanks to our viewers, we finally qualified to monetize** our YouTube channel! This helps our NON-PROFIT bring you new content. We know this means more advertisements than we previously had but we hope you will understand. Initially, this only brings in a little income, but every bit helps. As the channel grows, so will our income from it.

NOTE: If you have time to watch a whole commercial without skipping, it’s better for us. It’s also better for us if you watch all or most of the video. However, if you don’t have the time, we understand.
||| We mainly want to share the content for your enjoyment and learning. |||

We have a number of sections including…

  • Historical Space Program Films from our Preservation Project (We digitized some old NASA and other space related films that were literally melting into obscurity from age.)
  • “Space Worker Oral Histories” (An original behind the scenes interview series with those who were there working early missles, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Shuttle, and beyond)
  • “Stay Curious” (An Original Educational Series on Space History)
  • “Tales From The White Room” (Stories from the Shuttle Closeout Crew
  • Our Events (Guest presentations from our events)
  • Did You Know?
  • and others

** When someone monetizes a YouTube channel, a portion of the revenue YouTube receives from advertisements on the channel is shared with the channel owner. Among other things, the amount received varies depends on things like…
– How much of an ad you watch. (Sometimes “Skip Ads” appears.)
– If you click on an add for more info.

NOTE: We do NOT choose the exact advertisers or advertisements. However, we have asked YouTube to avoid controversial ads which they allow us to request.
