Qualification

Anyone working Space Station processing at KSC, other NASA centers, contractor locations, or others associated with the space station program are eligible to have their name engraved. Relatives may also apply to have their loved ones memorialized. A nice gift for a current or former ISS worker.

No extra charge. Great if engraving is a gift. Gift or not, we will be glad to print and mail a certificate if you want one. (If not, it will save us printing and postage costs.)

Description

  • The existing 3 sided shuttle name pylon shown in the foreground is shown for general reference. A rough concept photo is also shown with an ISS photo where an ISS picture will be etched into the stone bottom of each side.
  • Names with company(s) will be engraved in stone placards on the vertical sections.
  • Multiple companies can be listed, limited by space on the placard. We reserve the right to abbreviate or use acronyms for company names if required to fit the available space or for consistency.

IMPORTANT: Delivery Timetable

  • We are a non-profit. These are high quality stone monuments. Fabrication, engraving, and installation are expensive. Each pylon will only be constructed after enough engravings have been purchased to cover expected costs for that pylon. This may take a year or more so please be patient. If there is enough demand, additional pylons may be constructed.
  • Each pylon can only hold 144 names. By ordering now you are reserving a space and the current price. The longer you wait to order, the more chance you will not make the first pylon and will have to wait for a later one (if constructed). Also, by then, the price may increase due to rising costs.
  • If we do not receive enough orders to cover the cost for any pylon, or for any other reason we cannot fill your order, you will be entitled to receive a refund.

We would welcome a corporate sponsor(s) to help cover costs. We will consider naming sponsors on the monument. If you know of a company you think might be interested, please consider bringing this to their attention.

  • Payment is via Credit Card or PayPal. We do NOT collect your credit card info. Payments, including by credit card, are processed via a secure PayPal site. Data submitted to PayPal is governed by their terms.
  • For internal use, including contacting you about properly filling your order, your contact info will be separately collected during shopping cart checkout. This info will be kept in our permanent records.
